Robotics!

Light! Sound! Action! 

Our class is learning to code. In these pictures our class is making LEDs flash alternately and/or changing colours. The excitement is contagious!

Fraction Flowers

Our class has been working on fractions.  They created their own word problem and then showed their answer by colouring in the petals of their flowers.  It was a fun end of year activity.

PCS Multicultural Festival 2017

We celebrated our Multicultural Festival last Friday!  It was wonderful to see all of the families and students enjoying themselves so much.  There were lots of fantastic activities for everyone to participate in, including a "Dunk Tank".  The best part, however, was having the opportunity to see all the amazing student performances.  All their hard work and effort definitely paid off.  They were magnificent!

Learning to Use Stop Motion Animation

This is just an example for the students to see how to upload their animation.  The class was very eager and quite creative with their work.  I suggest checking some of it out.

Topic Student Art

W.A.L.T. create art from India. 
We are learning about where each of us come from.  Some of the students in our class are from India so we created our own Rangolis to welcome people into our room.  Symmetry, creativity, and colour are key to a beautiful Rangoli.
